On the morning of the Source Awards, Drako was awakened by the sound of Diamond’s sultry voice as she moved about the room. Apparently, she was indecisive about which ensemble to wear so she laid about four dresses out. She had also picked two suits out for Drako to choose from.

Drako broke her happy spell. “Damn, ma, you up early and sho’ nuff vibrant. You forgot to tell me where you went last night.”

Diamond first met Drako’s question with a fresh smile, and a playful giggle as she leaned over and pecked his cheek. “I’m glad you’re up, sleepy head. Now you can help me out, ‘cause I don’t know what to wear, baby.”

“That ain’t answering my question, Diamond.” Drako rose up on an elbow.

“Drako,” she tried to whine in her sexy tone, but Drako’s expression still meant business.

“Baby, me and Dianne hung out here, and then we went to Club Z-No and Cobars for a little while. And to answer what you wanna know. Yes, I got lots of compliments and plenty of looks. No, I didn’t dance, and yes, the only man I’m attracted to is lying in front of me.”

Drako’s frown melted away as he lay back down.

“Just checkin’, ma. And to help you out, I think you’ll steal the show in any of them dresses. You can’t go wrong.” Diamond grinned and went to the closet to choose her night’s attire.
